Firearm Registration Appointment "Pilot"

Does anyone know what "Pilot - Firearm Registration-1 firearm" is? I just went on the appointment site and there are four appointments for Wednesday, April 7 available. The "Firearm Registration-1 firearm" had zero.

Saw the same thing.  Wouldn’t you still need the permit to acquire first?

Some have already acquired the firearm and are still trying to get a registration appointment. Rifle permit is valid for one year, just need to register after purchase.

I still don't know what the "Pilot" appointments are, but there's four one firearm registration appointments for Wednesday morning, April 7th.
