President Biden on Saturday claimed that a Chinese spy balloon that drifted across the U.S. and caused a major international incident was "more embarrassing than it was intentional" by the communist regime.

The president also said he hopes to talk to China's President Xi Jinping about how the U.S. and Beijing can "get along."

Biden was asked whether Secretary of State Antony Blinken can ease tensions with China as part of his trip to the country. Biden, in response, raised the issue of the balloon, which flew over the U.S. in February until it was shot down off the coast of South Carolina.

"China has some legitimate difficulties unrelated to the United States, and I think one of the things that balloon caused was not so much that it got shot down, but I don't think the leadership knew where it was, knew what it was in it and what was going on," he said.

That phrase is rather inappropriate -- even if he was directing it toward a comment from the audience -- since the Queen of England died less than a year ago and was succeeded by her son King Charles III.  There's no reigning queen, so there's no one for God to save.

But to use that phrase to wrap up a gun control conference when we fought for and won our independence against the British Monarchy is just wrong on so many levels. 

Even the WH Press Corp liaisons had no answer for why Biden would say that.

The phrase comes from the national anthem of the UK and dependencies.  It was written as "God Save the King," but substitutes "Queen" when the sitting monarch is in fact Queen.

The tune for the UK anthem is used for many other songs including, ""My Country, 'Tis of Thee" aka "America".

This country is like a plane on a terminal nosedive.  The pilot is dead, the co-pilot is babbling, crying and sh*tting his pants, and everyone on the plane is screaming.

He lost credibility when he plagiarized a speech in his 1987 presidential campaign.  There was also C-SPAN footage of Biden rattling off his academic accomplishments, including saying that he graduated in the top half of his law school, when in fact, he ranked 76th out of 85.

Integrity is like virginity.  Once you give it away, it's gone forever.  From then on, Biden would have to be super squeaky clean to regain any credibility. There's no question that's not the case. E.g. I have no involvement in any of my son's business dealings, nor do we even discuss them.

Ask yourself if you'd want to put a confirmed liar on the stand to testify in your favor?  Credibility would be easily impugned.

Absolutely Right QS. While Joe is mostly responsible for the shitty economy that we are now suffering from,
he is not entirely responsible for it. Remember, Joe is so old that the last time he was in a class room,
economics 101 was not yet invented.

So much fun reading the comments below the video!  Yes, things are getting so bad that all one can do is just laugh.  What a sad state our nation has become.
