Lanai Axis/Mouflon lottery Hunt results posted.

 https://dlnr.hawaii.gov/recreation/files/2021/04/Lanai-Axis.Moufon-2021-results-Preliminary.pdf

If you got drawn hurry and get your house and flight since it’s only Mokulele flying there.  Going have some hammas so nothing smaller than 30 inches. Lol.

Good luck! :shaka:

Wow!  What a LIST!!

I hope the island doesn't capsize with that many extra people showing up!

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Many of the people on that list were drawn twice. How does that happen?

For that matter, why do Lanai residents get special
Preference in the draw?  All Hawaii hunters pay equally to provide funding to pay for the land lease from Pulama Lanai on the private lands where the draw hunts take place.

Look as if some guys put in for both archery and Rifle/Muzzleloader which I’m not sure was allowed this year. 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️

So my friend called Dlnr on Maui stating the situation and this is the text he sent me.

“ Not sure if you guys looked at the draw list but if you do, you will see that some names were drawn twice for different draws.  I spoke to Shane today and he admits they did not catch it.  I asked how they were going to correct and he responded by saying that they are going to let those individuals choose what hunt they want.  I told him by their own announcement that any Hunter who put in for multiple hunts would be disqualified.  I told him the social media here was blowing up and that his solution is not right.  Make your voice heard as DLNR is not holding to their own policy.”

There you go DLNR knows they screwed up and still won’t do the right and fair thing :wtf:.   Sucks most for the guys that could of had those spots that didn’t get drawn instead.  🤷🏽🤷🏽🤷🏽🤷🏽🤷🏽

Those who put in and got accepted for multiple hunts should be DQ'd for the upcoming season.  DLNR should redraw for those spots.  Sucks for those who followed the rules and didn't get picked.  People waited 2 years for this mess.

since pulama owns the DOFAW land and they set the rules for the DOFAW lease and I'm guessing they said lanai residents must automatically draw as part of the terms. It;s why lanai residents were hunting there during the lockdown. (doe only meat hunts). Their land, their terms, they have to look after their residents first and I don;t have a problem with it.

What definitely does need to be revised is mainland and other hawaii residents being in the same draw pool . that is BS. if i apply AZ, non res can't get more than 10% of tags. WY NV  other western states all similar, non res can't draw more than 10-15%.. In hawaii, theoretically mainland non res hunters could draw 100% of the tags which is ridiculous. They need to be in their own pool. Archery hunt was 15% draw odds for res which is terrible!

Also getting rid of standby is bs too. half these guys not gonna find housing or transport. Guys like me that can stay with family and didn't draw definitely would still like to go as a bunch of these tags is going to waste smh

they did redraw their spots but they should not have let them pick their hunt, i agree should been dq'd and opened up double the spots. I drew first weekend rifle last year and was gonna take my friend for his first buck and now got nothing. its so junk. i called them and said so what should i appply all 3 hunts next year since you letting everybody double their chances? "uhhh no, next year we will dq you''  what about this year, rewarding for not following the rules go figure
