That's a metaphor -- and an accurate one.

Anyone else impressed at her command of the English language, including her broad vocabulary?  She puts many native-born Americans older than her to shame, and she's Swedish!

Swedish is the legally designated national language of her country.  I doubt most English-speaking Americans can converse intelligently in a foreign language.

All the morons who listen to a child about a topic she knows very little about and treating what she says like the word of god.  When she goes to China, Vietnam, India, Malaysia and talks to them, then I'll give her some credit.  Like how Hanoi Jane went to N. Vietnam to protest.  At least she put her money where her mouth is.
