Anyone of y'all have experience with Century arms ak47 rifles?    Rifle zeroed from the factory?   Thinking of picking up a polish underfolder.

I have had a few Century AK's and honestly have never had a "lemon".

Their quality is very crude and they won't win any "most beautiful AK" contest, but they usually go bang when you pull the trigger.

I've seen some with very bad canted sights, where they were adjusted extremely to the far right or left in order to zero.

I've seen some "brand new" with cracked stocks.

All in all, I would honestly save a couple hundred bucks more and just get a high quality AK.

That's not to say that the el cheapo AK shouldn't have a spot in the arsenal. (I can arm some friends with some of the cheapest when the SHTF) If, however, that will be your only AK, you will very quickly regret buying the  cheap one and be looking for a better one.

Polish ones are definitely better than Romanians but Century has a well deserved reputation for loose quality control.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.

Personally I wouldn't buy anything from Century.

Century won't ship AKs directly to Hawaii (although some of their distributors will).  They seem to think that our laws are the same as California's.

I think the TGI AMD 65 is the best bang for the buck right now, but the design isn't for everyone.

Before a true in-house Century build, I'd look at Vector, Interarms, TGI, or just spend the $$ and get a factory built ak.

Totally agreed... My TGI AMD65 is pretty awesome and very well priced.. I was actually amazed at the quality for that price

I have a CAI Romy WASR which was my first rifle... I was lucky, cause there was absolutely no issues....

Your best bet when buying a CAI firearm is to hope that its already at the local gun store so you can check it out in person....

It will come down to which manufacturer will give good support if you have issues after your purchase...

Shot my newly acquired Century International Arms Polish Model 1960 AK today - Dead-on right outa the box, no crooked sights whatsoever.  Awesome AK!  Will soon replace Tapco trigger with the Red Star Arms two-stage trigger.  I like this better than my MAK-90...
