So more info on the Plaid burning. Now articles are saying fire fighters were on site for 3 hours and not that the car was burning for 3 hours like how initial articles reported.  The fake news has a hard on to try and make Tesla's look bad.  See above TX crash reference.

Guy who allegedly owns the vehicle, car broker tweeted that his 1 of 250 Plaids was the one on fire.  He was in it and barely got out in time.  So again, articles that said it was driving by itself are wrong.  The other issue ais that IDK if 250 Plaids were delivered yet.

It is a little odd that Teslas are basically a floor pan with 2 axels, ton of room to add on mods and no one is making bolt in after market fire suppression system. You could probably re-badge a commercial kitchen halon system. Double the price and make a mint. Tesla owners love to spend money.

same thing with IC engines. There is a gas tank but throughout the history of the IC automobile there wasn't a commercial fire system.

My guess is that its good enough the way it is and not made to be a race car. Even though they can be fast. I dont see many luxary cars moded compared to civics or subarus. Plus the race scene died in HI when tracks closed down. Then add in the average buyers age is in the 50s, who dont mod cars anyways.

There are lots of accessories, but nothing really for performance.

Nice,  when I went Mainland that was my main way of transportation.   It was great. 

So here's a recent story. My friends office chargers have been down for the past 10 days.  Luckily his condo has chargers. But they're always taken, even at 12am.  He goes to Kahala Mall or Ala Moana and those chargers as well are always taken when he goes to check on them.

He calls me and ask if he can charge in my condo and I said yes.  But while he is waiting 3 hours to get 75 miles worth of juice, he isn't allowed to hang in my unit due to Covid. So he says he's gonna run to the gym to kill time.  He has about 19% juice currently.

Here is 1 of the cons of EV's.
