One of the reasons Obama deported so many people is because so many more people tried to enter the US illegally BECAUSE Obama was on charge. They figured he was a better bet for granting them asylum/pardons than a Republican in the White House.
The illegal rate dropped in the wake of Trump's solutions, and now we see the aftermath of Biden walking into the Oval office on day one and shredding those solutions.
Harris said they "inherited the problem" from Trump. Maybe, since the problem has existed for decades, but they also inherited solutions that were working -- and they tossed those into the nearest dumpster.
