The Democrats are belt-feeding him ammo. Next year the House flips.

Stop blaming lazy people. We didn’t do anything.

Couldn’t find another more appropriate thread to put this in.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-asking-supporters-fund-plane-152737914.html

Trump fundraising to help pay for his new plane.
If true, which it sounds like it is, this guy is evangelical.

I can't help but point out that when Obama, as a former president, chimed in on current political issues people talked about how former presidents should be quiet yet with Trump this ideal gets tossed out the window.

Are you admitting you want CRT -- teaching racism to our kids?

That's not a political issue.  It's a policy decision that needs to be stopped dead in its tracks before more damage is done.

Just because a politician is making it his/her issue doesn't make it a political issue.  It only becomes political when a politician uses it for their own political objectives.  I don't see Trump doing that.  He's lending his voice to those in the country who feel the same.

I actually have no problem with Trump chiming in on issues, he is free to do that and in this case I would support him in his opposition to CRT.

But for the sake of logical consistency I also wouldn't whine about Obama giving his 2 cents on political issues either.

Nothing wrong with ex politicians $0.02. But they cross the line when with the Logan Act. John Kerry to be precise.

It's one thing to voice a personal opinion/stance on an issue.

It's another to try and undermine the efforts and decisions of a sitting president until after the RESULTS of those decisions are apparent.

Without access to the same appointees, experts and information the current President has, any former President is speaking from a potentially uninformed viewpoint.
