Checked the site but all I see or sale is mag pouches or bass. Do they’d sell ammo or just reloading supplies?

I haven't visited gun store for many months due to being busy with other things and am in need of 22 LR.  The last time I checked, supplies of 22 LR and other ammo were...well non-existant.  Is that still the case or do the local stores have it in stock?
I can’t help you much over there. But over here ammo is making a comeback and pretty good as well. As far as .22 is concerned only LR is making on the shelves here in any quantity. Mostly foreign made ammo such as Aguila, SK and Lapua. But I found some Mini Mags at the store the other day and bought my 2 box limit.

So hopefully you’ll start seeing some .22 coming in soon.

What's the prices at LGS? Here case 9mm FMJ is going for about $540 at SEC, which have usually the best prices.  Case 223 going for $700. 500rd 45 going for $340.

Prices are $22/box of 50 9mm aluminum case Blazer and $25/box of 50 9mm brass case Blazer. I’m sure they will discount slightly for a case. Those prices as of yesterday at my local range. Prices are slightly higher $1-$2 at Sportsman’s Warehouse. Sorry, don’t follow .223 prices much. But based on the sales prices at Natchez it sounds like the price for 9mm and .223 are right in line with what I expect Hawaii prices would be at SEC.

If cases of 9mm get below or around $200/case like they were pre pandemic I will be buying several cases. Same for .223 around $250.

I know this doesn’t help you over there but, case prices of Tula 9mm is $350 + shipping at Classic Firearms. Case price of Tula .223 is $400 + shipping also at Classic Firearms.

You have a better chance of seeing a unicorn.

Those are cheap prices if at your local range. Indoor range ammo here is way more, like $60 for box 9mm.  In vegas, pre-covid, indoor range ammo went for about $16 and the indoors here at the time were about $26.  I went to 808GC the other week and 45ACP Gold dot was going for about $120+ for a box of 50.  9mm GD was slightly less, but in the lower $100's.  IIRC, GD 9 was going for $35ish for 50rds precovid at SEC.

$200 aint going to happen ever again.  Those were record lows from oversupply and ammo companies were having difficulties making a profit at that price.  Remington shutdown their ammo factories due to that combined with their bankruptcy.  Inflation and wage increases alone make that not possible.  Add in demand from upcoming 2A deregulation over the next few years, demand for raw metals like lead and copper, and reduced military surplus and imports.   9mm brass cased should stabilize to around $300 a case over the next couple years.

I’m sure you are right about the prices. I can still make 9mm for much less than 30 cents so I’ll keep making it myself. But if it gets below that I’m investing in several cases.

when i was in Austin in August, only consistly saw (AT WALMART) Shotgun and sometime .22 LR.  I guess they don't sell Handgun ammo anymore.

the Local Academy (i went to a few to say the least) had a Great Selection.  Best price for 9mm Federal 115 FMJ (Redbox) 50 rounds was 17.99.  Again This was august.

Aloha!

Anybody know if any LGS have any CCI Mini-Mags?  Or a comparable quality .22LR similar to mini-mags?

My local range lifted the 2 box limit it had but the Sportsman’s Warehouse here still has the 2 box limit.

I saw at SEC they have CCI minimags but you have to be on the list.  I'm on the list but they didn't call me yet.  must be a long list
maybe try YG's.  i haven't been there in several weeks
