Danger Close Tactical Changed Hands

Haven't heard this much talked about and noticed the website was offline.  Hope to see the torch passed successfully and Danger Close continuing to be Oahu's premier one stop shop for great gun deals and tactical cookies.

Danger Close Tactical has been a great supporter of our fight to defend the 2nd Amendment and we know that as the new owner David Kikukawa will continue that tradition.

Aloha to our loyal customers,

Danger Close Tactical is under new ownership. Dwayne is retiring and is passing the company onto a very good friend of his David Kikukawa.

Dwayne will still be around and his wife Kelly will be still running the Cafe and bakery.

Currently the shop is open by appointment daily from 330pm - 830pm. To schedule an appointment please text or call 808-690-7186 or email david@dcthawaii.com

We are still operating out of the store at 2036 Pauoa Road for now and plan to expand next year to a larger location near by.

Our website is currently being worked on and you will be able to sign up for a newsletter and purchase products once it is finished.

Stay tuned for updates including a large ammo shipment coming in next week and more inventory coming in to follow. We plan to continue to have some of the best prices on island and the best customer service.

Mahalo for your years of support and we hope to have you as continued customers in the future!

Changed hands from a good guy to another good guy. Especially for the 2a community. I will continue to support. Best wishes to DCT.

Heard a lot about this place but never patronized due to the appointments and hours of operation.

But I'm glad the ownership passed from a good person to another. :shaka:

One day I hope to visit and patronize this business.

None of my business but I am curious to the back story, when I first met Dwayne he said being a full time LGS was his long term retirement plan, I heard from someone who worked with him he did finally retire from the military not long ago, but now he handed off his shop? Like I said none of my business, but i'll miss Dwayne he is a sweet heart of a guy.

Perhaps "his long term retirement plan" has come to fruition !

If you check out US death statistics it’s clear that cookies kill more people per year than firearms. Maybe the man went to the bakery side because he knew where he was needed?
