Would this also have the same issues as electric guns as being unsure if it can be be carried or stored in the car?

Could you make a “claymore” out of those pepper balls?  Asking for a friend
No one is coming, it’s up to us.

Legislation should never be about depriving law abiding citizens of something, but rather taking those things away from criminals.

Weird video on several different levels.
The voice almost sounds mechanical, like a text to speech generator.
The testing methology is weird.
Do attackers carry big flat boards in front of them?
In the video the boards were angled so that the cloud of pepper spray goes into the face.
None of the tests show a person wearing ordinary clothes getting shot.
That makes me think that pepper dispersion is ineffective when hitting ordinary clothes.

Furthermore,  no way these things are going to stop anybody from beating the crap  out of you before the pepper takes effect.
Furthermore,  compressed gas has a nasty tendency to leak....probably when you need it the most.
Furthermore,  who edited this? It looks like a kid's 6th grade science project.

This video just convinced me to never buy anything similar.

I think these things will do little for those types of criminals that are all-out intending to do you bodily harm.

Or worse.

Gotta meet violence with violence.  No halfway or half-ass measures.  No "kinder" and "gentler" deterrent.

My opinion.
Sometimes you gotta know when to save your bullets.

I have a Tippmann TPX pistol loaded with nylon covered marbles. It is supposed to hit hard enough to break thorough a car side window. Never tried it on a car window but I did shoot a broken surfboard with the power adjuster at its highest setting.  It broke the fiberglass and put dents in the foam from 20 ft. It also easily passed through those super thick cardboard boxes that fresh oranges come in. At the highest setting you can get about 22 shots, but you will notice a definite drop in power after about 16. The magazine holds 7 rounds so figure 2 magazines of full power. A good thing about this gun is you can leave it ready to go with an unpierced CO2 powerlet. The first pull of the trigger will pierce it and the 2nd one will fire.  I’ll try it out on the next feral pig I kill in about 3 weeks (gotta wait for freezer space) to see what kind of damage results, but I doubt it will break the hide.

The other thought that comes to mind is drugs.
No way in hell that thing is going to stop a raging crackhead. Adrenaline makes ordinary people super strong.
The only use I can think of for such devices is riot control. And even then, you would need many-many shots.
I think a conventional spray device would be much more effective.

I used mine on Oahu on low power to shoot my neighbors dog who would come in my yard to shit.  After getting hit couple times it stayed away.

ePowersports under the Aiea Bowl has them also. T4E pistols and shotguns  too
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotomy.

Ventura Munition in Vegas has shotgun ammo for various animals. Dogs, bears, deer, etc...The ones for dogs was like a round softer than a gummy bear type of consistency.  Like that sticky slap hand that people had as kids.  The bear one was like solid rubber.  They also had rock salt and dragons breath.  Spent like 10 mins just looking at shotgun ammo.

0% of the world is naturally immune to this 15 gram lead ball launcher with 475 joules. .....Doesn't even require CO2 cartridges.

WGS Sand Island has them

Uncle Joe does not have pepper ball ammo to refill the gun. After you use up the 10 balls that come with the gun, the pistol has lost its value.
Joe says the pepper ball is considered hazardous material. We need him to order a pallet from the mainland. OCCC guards can test them on the prisoners.

Isnt there something in hrs134 about propelled by gas or something? Which would make such dispensers illegal?
