I know a few retired pediatric's and they said the best thing you can do for children is let them play in the dirt. Don't be cloroxing everything.  This was prior to COVID.  Same guys not getting the vaxx. And since they're retired, they're over 65, more like 70's.

When rat lungworm was going around a few years ago, doctors were blaming it on kids rarely playing outside anymore.  being isolated indoors.

Growing up we would drink water from the hose laying on the ground.

Would that be related though? I would think a parasite to be different than bacteria or viruses.

Directly relevant to what can improve (or weaken) one's immunity without relying on vaccines.

idk #notadoctor

but i NEVER taken a flu vaccine and i NEVER had the flu.  everybody at work who got the flu had taken the flu vaccine.  i should be highly susceptible to the flu since a work at a hotel restaurant, overweight and ride the bus to and from work.

Maybe, but an actual worm inside your body eating away at your brain would be quite a bit different than teaching your white blood cells to recognize a bacteria. Could you even gain a resistance?

Never once experienced a flu? Now that is impressive. Maybe you have some sort of natural genetic immunity?

But, in your logical thought experiment, even he would require a vaccination or be fired, kept from venues and possibly sent to the back of the line if he needed medical care?

Is that the conclusion you would arrive at?

Way to dodge the question.

The thought experiment doesn't tell you what conclusion to arrive at.

The thought experiment doesn't tell you what conclusion to arrive at.

Personally, I get tired of people trying to debate, take the opposing viewpoint, and post "thought experiments" on political issues.

There is no right answer except in each person's viewpoint -- at least not that anyone can prove is right.

I asked a direct question.  You still want to play games.

I'm done.

Your question was flawed from the beginning. I am not going to tell you what an answer should be in a thought experiment.

Week 4 update:

Nothing really.  Gym performance keeps increasing. This is what I use to gauge my recovery.  Legs is back to where it was b4 getting sick. Shoulders down about 5%.  Bi's down about 3%. Tri's is back to the same. Back is down 5%.  The biggest part not yet back is the chest. But my barbell bench press has always been the weakest my entire lifting career.  So I'm down about 10% for that one.  Incline/decline chest is back to normal.

So unless something bad happens later, this might be the last update for a while because there is nothing new or out of the normal to report.

Ran into my friend who took Ivermectin at the gym the other day. He's still 1 huge fakka.  This was his first day back in 2 months since catching covid.  Only guy I know who warms up barbell bench with 225lbs (2 plates). The standard warm up is with 135lbs (1 plate).  He works his way up to 405lbs (4 plates).  This is of course for veteran lifters. Noobs don't do the standard 1 plate warm up.

This topic is for "My COVID Experience".

Please provide sources that show the word "Experience" means "Hypothetical thought experiments."

Go start your thought experiment in another thread (like you did for the anti-Trump mandate hypothetical), and leave the existing threads alone unless you have actual experiences or comments related to actual experiences for this thread.  This thread is already too long and full of posts that make it untenable to read through.

Serious inquiry.
Was your friend down and out for two months ?
Did the ivermectin work?

My brothers all into this ivermectin ( human ivermectin), HCQ stock pile in case he starts feeling symptoms or gets it.
