People you don't expect to see firing guns
« on: August 31, 2009, 10:05:27 PM »
For some reason  ??? I saw Jon and Kate Plus 8 on TV tonight and saw Kate firing guns.  She had a .22lr rifle and a .45 colt.
Are there any people that you see using guns that you wouldn't expect?

Rachel Maddow, the ultra-liberal host of her own show on MSNBC, has apparently shot guns many times and has taken other people to shoot.  Of course she doesn't believe people should own guns and that they should be used only for amusement, like roller coasters.  But can't people own those?

The gun talk starts at about 3 minutes in.

Funny, I kind of look at it the other way.  I expect to see everyone firing a gun eventually.  What I find exceptional is when someone tells me they haven't, and what I find just plain weird is when they tell me that they either don't want to or refuse to.
The difference between theory and reality is that, in theory, there is no difference between theory and reality.
