So today I go fo poot gas at Hele in Town Center Mililani.  Two weeks ago I think the price for 87 octane was $4.17.

Last week it was $4.249

Today the price was $4.299 :grrr:

And then I go Times to do some grocery shopping.  Meat prices are crazy.  So no steak this week.  I pick up a pkg. of Hamburger.  Still gotta eat, lol!

I also grab a pkg. of pork chops that had a $1.50 off price sticker.  Passed on the chicken since I still got some in the freezer.

Checked out the canned goods.  The shelves were better stocked this time but the sale on canned kidney and chili beans produced empty shelf spaces.

There was a coupon special for canned tuna:  10 cans for $9.00 so I picked up those.

Once a week my wife and I would splurge on sushi.  The price jumped $3.00 from $10.99 to $13.99 for a ten pak of nigiri sushi.  So I guess we'll pass this week and maybe splurge every other week from now on..... :(

Yes Brandon, keep giving away money to illegal aliens and throwing the burden on us tax-payers.

And I'll continue to sing Let's Go Brandon along with the other pissed off Americans you're stepping on.

Was in Marukai lately and just glanced at a package of beef oxtails.  It was $34.00 and some change.

Had a good laugh about it because that same package used to sell for $18.00 or $19.00 and even then I thought it was an outrageous price for a cow's tail.

Rant time, this is what we have to deal with in HI.

So my dad is a true DNC voter.  Suffers from TDS too.  He thinks Biden can do no wrong, but every action or word Trump makes is wrong.  Takes 100% faith in CNN and like media sources and supreme leader president king Fauci

I told him about the loco moco how it went up 50% and his reply was "at least we can afford it".  Which isn't the point. He makes the same comments when it comes to gas. They aren't rich, but aren't poor either. But very comfortable. He drives everywhere so he doesn't see the crimes that happen.  Compared to my mom who used to catch the bus cause she worked in downtown and parking sucks.  So she sees the crackheads and deals with the career criminals due to working in the AG's office.

This is 1 reason why HI will never get better, but only more and more expensive and worst crimes.

I think most people here are too busy to look at the long term effects and are just looking at each pay period. My small circle of friends are like that.
