This is what happens when voting is made with emotion and not logic and no consequences for cheating.

Unfortunately, those who voted with logic must suffer the mistakes that others made.

You can't (or is extremely difficult) to rationalize with the irrational.  Belive there's plenty of examples encountered here.

Then you also can't reason with someone whose basis for reasoning is so twisted different.

There are only three ways the US empire can alleviate its national debt.

Option 1: Austerity
The most common sense is austerity, where the US empire stops spending beyond its means.  However, this is not feasible, since the current level of debt would require decades of less spending from consumers, the military-industrial complex, etc., which none of those parties would listen, plus the fact the American economy is primarily based on consumption.

Option 2: Export US Imperial Inflation
The second way is to inflate the imperial debt, which is what has been happening for some time now, with all the US toilet paper that has been printed for over the last decade.  Although this non-war strategy should have worked, since the US dollar is still the World's reserve currency, where those nations shackled to the US dollar would theoretically absorb the US exported financial inflation suffering, thereby, allowing the US imperial economy to recover; the rest of the planet led by Russia, China, Venezuela, and all of the US empire's so-called enemies did and will not go along with that plan, as evidenced with them having sought and currently utilizing other alternatives to US toilet paper (i.e., gold, Euro's, cryptocurrencies, etc.) that the Federal Reserve and all of the other Global banking families can't directly influence.

Option 3: Start a Global War
The third and final way is have a human species ending global war, in order for the US empire to smash its economic rivals; reestablish a new global dominant currency; and restart the private central banking game all over again.  Suffice-to-say, there are no winners in such a war of this magnitude, except the Power Okole, who have their own self-contained bunkers.

From the options above, the only sane choice is Option 1: Austerity, but unfortunately there will not be any domestic long-term buy in to that plan.  The US empire is still trying Option 2: Export US Imperial Inflation.  This has been going on for years now with no success due to the other countries not wanting to pay the financial price to maintain the US empire.  That leaves only Option 3: Start a Global War.  As seen with the US empire's goading of Russia and China, the Power Okole are starting to make preparations for this option in the near future.  Since the planet is tired of American imperial global hegemony and will not sacrifice their economies, the rule of the US empire for all tense and purpose is over.  Its just a matter of time now and to be very honest, the Power Okole don't care, since they can take their money and relocate to better areas on the planet or join Elon Musk to find another planet to live on.

Believe (or seriously hoping) that this is sarcasm.  That said, if really need, just reach out. . .

You are a kind and caring person.  Really nice to know there's people like you in a world full of joe bidens...... ;D

But I guess my post gave the impression that my wife and I are struggling financially.  No.  We aren't.  But we do get pissed off when prices get ridiculously high, especially when it seems that it doesn't need to be, like how the current administration occupying the White House is doing. :grrr:

With that being said, I was surprised that when I filled up with gas at Hele at Town Center Mililani the gas price stayed the same as last week: $4.299 for 87 octane.

The meat, fish, and poultry prices at Times Mililani are still high, in some cases almost twice as much per pound than just a few months ago.  Fresh veggies doesn't seem as ridiculous in price and the canned goods are getting up there in price or remain at the same price but the can or pkg. got smaller, lol!!  And the canned goods that are on sale are constantly out on the shelves.

But yeah, I'm always thinking of those people who really are struggling financially.  My wife and I are empty nesters and our kids are doing fine.  I think of the young families with children.  Nothing is sadder than a child and family going hungry......

But anyway, I talk too much.  Thanks again for your concern.  Let's all hope for better times!

Oh yeah.  F joe biden  ;D

Gotcha.  I assumed you were doing ok.  That said, you never know.  Sometimes those appearing strongest on the outside can be struggling inside or carrying a lot.

Thank you for thinking about others. Some only think about themselves and since they are doing fine, basically screw everyone else who isn't.  Or how some think it's easy to just quit ones job and find another replacement that has equal or greater pay.   I've talked to many friends who are trying to find a replacement job and are unable to find the same or close pay.  So they're doing a job, but way less pay.  First hand XP talking here.  Many do not have the education or XP to switch careers either.

Then add in retirees who are on fixed income who paying 50% more does hurt them.  Why do you think in HI we see so many older people still working?  Cause they can't afford to retire.  You know that grandpa at Walmart, or that grandma who's a waitress still.

So this avoidable inflation prices thing is hurting them. And yes, this entire thing is avoidable. But hey no more mean tweets right?

My friend owns a supplement shop here (protein, creatine, preworkout, etc...). Pretty much every company gets their bulk ingredients from China.  They then mix the ratio's of various ingredients here and package it under their own label. What China is doing now is not selling in bulk quantities. Instead telling the supplement companies what ratio's they want and ship it to them already mixed.  This way China can charge more.  Which means we get charged more. So already, price for most supplements went up 25%.  And should see even a higher inflation next year.  So many mom n pop stores are ordering now while it's cheaper.

Don't close pipelines or stop construction of them.

Don't mandate vaxx for workers

Just 2 off the top of my head that when these began, so did our problems.

Solution is simple.
Independent truckers all take the month off to re-negotiate their truck loans.
and EPA regulated bull shit.
Problem solved.

I watched this. And it just goes to show you how little this administration really thinks of you. This woman laughing is mocking all of us. This administration hates all of us and doesn’t care how we feel. They are doing nothing to relieve this inflation.

She probably drives an EV. . .

Nah.  More realistically she either has a Gov't vehicle with an expense account, or has staff with expense accounts to drive Ms. Daisy around.
