WHO NEEDS A .357 ANYWAY?

https://americanhandgunner.com/handguns/who-needs-a-357-anyway/

My favorite revolver cartridge. The 38/357 is one of the most versatile cartridges available. The 38 Special is fun to shoot and is one of the most accurate cartridges ever developed. It was used in competition for a very long time. I use my S&W Model 10 revolver in 38 Special as part of my EDC rotation. It is one of my favorite guns to practice with. Also, since I reload I reload 357 cartridges in 3 versions. Bunny farts, mid range and heavy hitter. Even my mid range loads are mild enough so i can shoot a lot of them without hurting my arthritic joints. But I still get plenty of noise and flames with them.

+1 for the 357. Many years ago I sold 2 357 revolvers since I thought
the 44 mag and 45 acp could do everything better.
I now wish I kept those revolvers.
Today I own 3 357's.

I love how inspector uses arthritis as an excuse for dismal shooting.

The question isn't who needs A .357.  Should be how many is "just right"?

357 revolvers are great!
being able to shoot 38sp, they are very versatile, as Inspector already said.  depending on what revolver I'm going to shoot and what mood I'm in at the time, I might load some with Trailboss for light cowboy loads, or ACC#5, ACC#7, ACC#9, or some H110 if I feel like busting out the flame thrower. :geekdanc:
they are fun to shoot bc they have more power than the usual semiauto, but not too much.  it's like a gateway drug into magnum revolvers.  they are the first magnum revolvers, iirc.

Check ‘em go check ‘em go.

Shot my model 10 with around the world import markings .38 at Inspectors send off.
Didn’t come in last.  :D (According to my report and Rocky’s sound effects.)
Shouldn’t have sold it, also should not have sold my .357 lever gun.  >:(
Got one .357 left. S&W Model 65 I swindled off MMM (for those who remember old members.) in a trade. He swindled me on the next trade. We’re even.
Got a .38 bodyguard off him in that trade though. Would be my carry gun if the Court comes through.
