and they should think thrice about carrying

There is no "best ccw" gun. Its the indian, not the arrow. Same goes for spray n pray.

In the end, it comes down to what features you prefer. Luckily, HI removes 1 variable, cant exceed 10rd mag.

For a carry conceal, 10rds is fine for me because I’m going small, light gun.  If it was open carry, then I would go full size, and 10rds is not enough.

Thankfully I go to the range much more often recently and obey all range rules.

Is the P365 the best 9mm cc weapon? Then farsighted thinkers should get one now, before the big rush. The XL Spectre models with a Romeo Zero RDS are currently selling for over $1100. How can someone afford that on a McDonald cashier's salary? Need to be a dentist. I was told by a range officer at KHSC that Glocks are considered to be spray & pray weapons, the last thing you need in a crowded public area.

Bingo

PSA, watch out for the hot muzzle when reholstering. . .  esp if your IWB holster doesn't cover the full muzzle. . .  :o

Ask one of the KHSC ROs (I think he still ROs every so often)

I was considering the C2 but it still looks bulky for a CC.  Might need to look for some YT vids on CC review.

A shooting buddy has a full sized Staccato.  He loves it.  1911 or 2011 wouldn't be anywhere near my first choice for CC, but I've been told by many that the profile of the 1911 does conceal well, at least for some body types/folks.

Would make my pants hand low(er).  ;D

I would open carry my 1911 or commander 1911, but would be difficult for me to conceal.  especially in hawaii where we dont wear too much coats or jackets

Where did he get that misinformation from?  I would bet him $1000 that I could put 2 shots center mass from 10 yards away in less than 3 seconds drawing from OWB holster with my G19.

Courteous people shoot that way. It lessens the chance of hot brass hitting the person next to you.

There's a least two KHSC ROs (I think I saw at least one of them last time I was at the range) that can so that from concealment in <2 seconds.  Probably pushing 1s when they train a lot.

Then there's some here who can probably get off the 2 shots in that time, but would be nut shots or the attacker's right leg

I like to make bets that I know I will win. That is why I said 3 sec.  I know I can do it faster than that. I have a 25 yd handgun range in my backyard and a shot timer.
