Amazing how a Brit is more knowledgable about modern firearms than 90% of the anti-gun leftists in America.

I think it's less about being a Brit and more about having a thirst for knowledge and wanting to learn. The people who constantly misuse words, make up their own, or refuse to acknowledge any world view other than their own have neither of those traits.

Please excuse me while I load up my large assault rifle - 15 that shoots huge bullets with high capacity clipazines used only for murdering people whose skin color is different from my own.

To the original question/topic:  What Actually Defines an Assault Rifle?

Any rifle that can be used during the commission of an Assault.  At least that is what the anti 2A wants as a definition so they can ban all rifles.
