After almost two centuries of standing in New York's City Hall, an 884-pound statue of former President Thomas Jefferson was crammed in a wooden crate Monday and taken away.

The city's mayoral commission voted to remove the effigy because the nation's third president owned slaves.

It took a team of more than a dozen workers to remove the statue from its pedestal and lower it down the stairs on a pulley system, according to a report.
=====================
Nov. 22 (UPI) -- A controversial statue of former President Theodore Roosevelt that sits out front of the American Museum of Natural History in New York City will be relocated to North Dakota, officials said.

The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library Foundation announced the relocation in a statement Friday, stating the Theodore Roosevelt Equestrian Statue will be moved to a library that bears the former president's name in Medora, N. D.

"They" have been coming after ALL LIVING WHITE FOLKS for years, in retaliation for what our ancestors supposedly did.

Getting rid of statues is just a small part of their plan.  Once they run out of those, it'll be time to punish the great-great-grandchildren of a race that owned slaves -- even though only a small fraction of whites in pre-Civil War America ever owned slaves.  "Reparations" will be the chosen term, even though nobody alive had been, or even knew anybody who had been, slaves.

Guilty due to the color of your skin.  Who's the racists?   O0

Meanwhile more and more white people are getting angrier about this racist crap going on.

And Asians are quietly going on with their lives, working hard to improve their standard of living, and social standing.

And the Blacks and whoever else that feels oppressed continue to cry and whine about injustice while collecting their subsidies and hanging out at the street corners waiting for someone to hand them the key to higher living standards and social standing.  The entitlement syndrome.

Yes, the above statements are blatant generalizations.  Racist? Depends how you look at it. But there is truth to them.  More people fall into those above categories than anyone will admit.

I gave up my abacus years ago. Why bother with hard work when the people down by Walmart Kunia can earn at least $200 daily by hanging out on their iPhones and begging for $$$. True story. The dumbasses in charge don't realize they perpetuate these "homeless" grifters with endless Task Forces and homeless aid packages. Let's GO Kermit!
