I was not expecting to see Savage get back into building pistols. I love seeing American companies innovate. Hopefully they will sell a lot!

There are a lot. My nephew and I rented a few the last time we went to the range in Tempe before he moved to UT. He had a bunch of free rental coupons leftover from his membership. Anyway, we compared them all to his Sig P365 shooting all the same ammo. We both came to the same conclusion that the Sig was the better shooting and handling of the ones we tested. I think the Hellcat came in a close second. It seem to have a bit more recoil/muzzle flip as I remember. And the Sig fit our hands a little better. Actually from what I remember they were all pretty close.

Been looking to get a mini boom boom so I’ll be keeping my eye on this to see what the reviews say….

Upon further research this looks like a crappy rebrand of the Honor Guard.   The pistol known to have many issues.  I would avoid.

I like Savage firearms. Will try this one. After the Ruger PR came out they followed with their own chassis rifle with MDT. I'll be looking out for any reviews done by real shooters out on a range. Shooters who have solid skills, know range rules and not afraid to head out to a range

I’m not in the market for another small pistol but if it performs well and the price is right I will consider it.

I’ll wait and see how it does when tested by Gun Test. They do a great job of ringing out a firearm and then reporting honestly about it.

Wait a few years till it is fully vetted.  If you need something now, get something that has already been around for at least a few years and has a decent track record

After careful consideration me thinks my choices have come down to the sig P365, Glock 43, Glock 26 Gen5 and the M&P plus but will still keep my eye on the Savage….can never have enuff boom booms!

There a lot of good videos on comparisons between those pistols you named. They are all excellent guns. I looked at all of them as well before I decided on the Sig.

I look at this pistol sort of in the same way when Mossberg came out with a new, complete new design from a blank sheet of paper carry pistol. If my memory is correct it was around 100 years (at least a very long time period) since Mossberg built and sold pistols. It seems to me these two companies are trying to take advantage of the hottest segment in the firearms market by designing and marketing brand new from the ground up designs. Though the Stance is probably even more near the front of the pack using a removable chassis where a lot of its competitors are not offering that yet.

As with anything that is a new design and not an update of a previous model I would suggest waiting to see what the reviews are on the gun. And of course maybe wait long enough to see if there are any issues. Even the Sig P365 had a major issue or two that needed to be corrected when it was first released. JMHO
