NRA upgrade sale

So the NRA wants me to upgrade to Patron Life Member from Endowment Life Member...$1,200 off from $1,500, so I pay only $300 (80% off). Should I? (Yes, I remember my angry letter I sent them...) It's a pretty good deal though.

I did a little research into membership levels. It looks you just get a fancy new title, maybe better seats at NRA events, recognition at said events, some better free stuff, and solicitations to upgrade to the next level.

The levels go like this:
Standard Membership
Life Membership
Endowment
Patron
Benefactor

Then, once you reach benefactor level you are invited to join other groups:
Presidents Council
Ring of Freedom
Golden Eagles
Second Amendment Task Force

There's probably no end to the upgrading. Is it worth it in terms of additional services you receive? Probably not. But is it worth supporting the NRA and what they're doing? That's up to you.
