All these new proposed bills are designed to make the law abiding citizen become entangled in all of this BS requirements in anticipation of what looks like SCOTUS's favorable decision as far as "may issue" laws being unconstitutional.
These proposals will open up a nightmare of litigation issues:
Why didn't you use the taser first?
Why didn't you use the "kumbaya" approach? You know, sit down with your attacker and talk it out peacefully with love and understanding......

When split second decisions concerning your life and the life of your loved ones are at stake, these proposals will make one second guess which to use first.
Will it be the Kumbaya technique? Or shall I taser his ass and hope the other attackers run away? Will they run away?
Hawaii's leaders do not have the law-abiding citizen's interests at heart when it comes to personal self defense. These proposals are a direct reaction to making sure the right to self protection is never going to be easy in the demokratic socialist state of Hawaii.
They would rather you "Kumbaya" yourself and your family to death. They have better control of you that way. They are afraid of empowered citizens as envisioned by our forefathers.
