Couldn't get the link to work (it may be blocked here at work  :( )

My 2 cents: I'm voting for Lingle.
While she may not have been the Second Amendment's best friend during her time as governor, I think that the more Republicans we can put in the US Senate, the closer we'll get to a Nationwide Concealed Carry Law and more sanity in any "gun control" discourse we have.

The alternate being Crazy Mazie HiroNO!, a useless, do nothing liberal. I think we have enough of those in Washington already!  :grrr:

Hirono had a poor debate performance. She had trouble replying with substance a few times and all she really said was that she supports obama and Lingle doesn't. She doesn't say why we should vote for her, she just says that lingle is bad because she is against Obama.
I really hope Lingle beats her.

I had similar thoughts as well - but the poll showed that Hawaii did not care. Are we that stupid?

Yes, most of our voters are that stupid.  :wtf:

"Vote for Crazy Mazie because she has a "D" next to her name."

Need more examples? I'm sure others can chime in.......

Obama has been discovered to be lying the whole time, talking about a stupid YouTube video, while our guys were getting murdered in bengazi.  They knew from day one it was a terrorist attack, and they had been asking for more protection for a while.  Hirono's continued support for this lierincheif just shows how much of an idiot liberal rubber stamp she is. If she gets elected, no doubt hawaii voters are that stupid.  Sad part is, I wouldnt be surprised.  :grrr:

Not ALL Hawaii voters are stupid, just those who will vote for a democrat regardless of the truth.  Hirono is pathetic.

There are just enough stupid people here to keep this place going the way it's been for so long.  Why else would the same party be in power for more than forty years despite the fact that this island has had the same problems (notice how they all talk about "education" but nothing really happens)?  Last week I was waiting to get my hair cut and overheard one of the customers say to the lady that was cutting his hair that he "won't vote for Romney because he will hurt the nation."  Idiot!  the nation is hurting NOW.   I think so as long as the daily temperature doesn't vary more than 10 degrees and the ocean is still blue few people here give a shit about anything else.

I watched a portion of the Lingle/Hirono debate on PBS last night. One thing jumped out at me. The State spending portion of the stimulus was over 500 Billion dollars. Of the 500 Billion, Hawaii received 1.6 Billion or so. Now when I do the math, that means we received 0.32% of the stimulus money. How is this in the best interests of Hawaii? We get less than 1% of the money, but are responsible for helping pay off 100% of this debt down the road?

If Liberals are all about "paying your fair share", then we should only be responsible for paying back that 0.32%. Cali guys can go and pay back their 66 Billion they got out of the Stimulus. Just got to me that Hirono thought that the stimulus was such a great idea...

There was your big mistake.  This is a democrat, and an uber-liberal one at that.  Thinking is not allowed, only total obeisance to what is handed down from the democrat socialist caucus.

Far as I can tell, that is the one thing Hirono can point to as a success.  100% socialist voting record totally in line with Zero's wishes.  What Hawaii wants, she cares less.

I met with lingle at the gun show. She was very open about guns and knows the difference between law abiding citizens and criminals with guns. But she said she needs more understanding about the concealed carry issue.  I talked to Hirono at a sign waving  a while back and she ditched my questions.

To me, Hirono comes across as a puppet for the party. While Lingle appears ambitious and understanding of the process of our government. Not saying I agree with Lingle on all her doings but she seems less of a puppet to her party and more of a stand out. Just my observations.

Please everyone lets help Linda Lingle and Charles Djou.

Should Obama be re-elected Hirono and Hanabusa will definately side with Obama on his new Assault Weapons Ban and Ban on Handguns!

He already voiced this in the last debate!

Dunno about Lingle or Hironao, but I always liked Djou. Also for some reason I got a bad feeling Obumma might win again and if he does it just to show how small the firearms community had shrunken. Prove me wrong please

Him being re-elected probably would have less to do with a shrinking of the firearms community and more to do with laziness.  Some are too lazy to vote.  Some are too lazy to work.  Some are too lazy to follow rules.  Some are too lazy to turn away from the TV and the biased media to get their news.  I'm not holding out much hope for any of the contested races - just hoping there are enough pro-gun Representatives and Senators (party shouldn't matter for the Second Amendment, but I know it does sometimes) in Congress.  As for this state - there's not much that can be said when people here went further left at a time when the country started moving to the right.
