Remember when the IT guy was told by the Clinton Campaign to delete backups of Hillary's email server after they were already subpoenaed -- which he did?
He was given full immunity, yet he never testified against Clinton or her campaign staff.
#1 - immunity agreements are supposed to be to remove the 5th amendment shield witnesses use to avoid testifying. Without the risk of prosecution, you can't refuse to testify under the 5th. If you do, you're in contempt.
#2 - Even with no threat of prosecution, the IT guy still refused to tell what he and others did.
So, if he wasn't willing to testify, why the immunity? Seems the FBI was handing out immunity letters to every person on the Clinton side of the investigation, yet nobody ever offered testimony against Hillary. If they did, it was never included in the hearings nor Comey's press conference. Very unusual. Immunity is normally given in exchange for providing evidence or information the prosecution can use.
I wonder if the IT guy simply didn't want to find himself deleted the way so many of the Clinton's "friends" have been.
