Since I've never once eaten there, I wonder how many others have never eaten there as well.

Was this a locals restaurant mostly, or did tourists keep them profitable?

If it was a must-do destination for tourists, it was primarily the lockdowns and visitor restrictions that drove him out of business, not the COVID pandemic per se.

Can't say I'll miss the place, but it's sad anytime someone's business closes for no reason of the owners'.  Plenty of restaurants are still operating all over Oahu.  Just curious why the M really had to close.

add another one: https://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/2022/03/04/after-36-years-business-kobe-steak-house-maui-close-good/

In a post online, the family announced the closure this week, saying the business has been unsuccessful in hiring staff amid economic challenges.

I think I tried their catering at some fancy pants event. It was pretty good. Kermit needs a recall.
I’m becoming clinically undepressed and thinking about beginning it all.

"Closes for good due to COVID"

I always find it hilarious, yet annoying when media attribute these closures to "covid" rather than the real reason imo- government mandates and associated BS. SMH. Loosahs
