Kit N Gun had one of the largest display setups at the show. But, if Marko of Firearms International had brought his blonde wife/gf, she would have been the star of the show.

I saw plenty of sellers carrying brass and primer, and one who was offering a press. The memorabilia booths had many pins and badges that were reasonably priced.

On the table with vintage military rifles, I tried to find a Premier Heritage Tactical Rifle Scope. No success, but one of these days, I hope to see one at a gun show.

Noticed that Firearm Training Certification School (Haleiwa and elsewhere) was offering a 2-day concealed carry certification level 1 course for $195. Has anyone taken the course as part of the process to obtain an out-of-state CCW permit?

Many handgun safety class people took to buy a pistol  already meet the out of state ccw requirements.

I thought Premier went out of business. They used to mod Leupold reticles right?

The question was whether FTCS training can satisfy one of the requirements (proficiency) to get a CCW license. Having never heard of Butch, I was seeking opinions. Btw, thanks to you and Mery Ann for your guidance and cost-effective safety course.

It looks like Butch Helemano has been discussed before.

Is he the same as the musician of the same name?

Yes, they did, and more. At Fire Base Burt (live exercise, where my software was being tested), I saw a Marine with a Premier scope on his sniper rifle.

...

The answer is:  it depends in which state you plan to apply for a CCW permit/license.

Pick a state.  Go to that state's LE and Public Safety websites.  Read their CCW laws.  Find the training requirements for that state's CCW permit.  Make sure the same requirements apply to nonresidents.  Sometimes the quickest method is Googling the state's CCW application itself.  They normally list everything you need to provide them in their application form.

It's a good research exercise.  You might be surprised how much easier it gets as you gain more practice.

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Intent was to just buy some small goodies and nick nacks. But also got ammo. YG had  a good deal of Federal 115gr 9mm. Case was $400. Which the last case I bought a few months ago was $540 at SEC.  Also got 1 box of Federal 45ACP 230gr from them cause I was in line for the 9mm. They had aluminim Blazer for $340 a case.  About a 20 min wait in line at the YG booth.

Also got some snacks below.  The skittles is good, same flavor, but minus the chewy stuck to your teeth texture. Instead it's more like a denser Cheeto type texture.

Got to see some people who we haven't seen in a while too.  This day was the first time I was shaking hands and not just bumping fist. So I ran thru my hand sanitizer by the end of the show due to using after every shake.

Funny story is Alan Beck was there.  He went to another booth and talking to the rep for this booth. He was told that their lawyer is the only one doing things in HI for the 2a right.  Alan being Alan (humble), let him speak and didn't say anything back.  If any moment was the OK time to say "Do you know who I am?". this was it. But he is humble, so he didn't say that or anything like that.

Also saw the guys we shot with at the MPPL steel working the Kit n Gun booth. This was our first match, so they were very nice and friendly toward us. So we went to say hi.

Mrs. CMO tested me at the show. She saw Kit's booth and the models. She wanted to show me what they look like. Of course I said no need, but she dragged my ass there. Luckily, they were all gone by then.
