I liked the way he worked. When he did something that his voters disagreed with, he was quick to go on social media to explain. Example was the budget that had some anti 2a stuff in it that he voted for. He was quick to say to trust him that that section was being removed. Which it was. On the same level, Dan Crenshaw voted to support the bill and caught the same amount of heat from his supporters. he didn't explain about the anti 2a portion being removed. He also wasn't afraid to speak on issues. Which is probably why he was targeted by the fake news and it worked. He wasn't part of the "club".
He's young and wasn't groomed to be a politician, so the photos that surfaced doesn't bother me. TBH, I'm surprised there have been no accusations of sexual harassment/rape. But then maybe "they" are saving that for later.
Neither does his guns in TSA bother me enough to lose my support for him. Recently John Correia (Active Self Protection) had a blue dummy gun he found in his carry on. He posted he was looking for this after a class he taught and could not find it. He was double checking his carry on at the airport before going thru TSA for ammo when he found the plastic gun. He approached TSA and asked if he could bring this thru and was told no. So he had to trash it.
I know guys who had their knives tossed or taken away because they forgot they had it on them. And since HI doesn't allow carrying of guns, knives EDC is what we got and our equivalent. It would be different if Madison was anti 2a though.
