20 OCT 2012 - HDF Range Day (SATURDAY)

Focus is on handgun, movement, team building.   If you have never been to a range day, and are unsure of your handgun abilities, please come in the afternoon (around 13:00).  If you are ready to have some fun and train, please be there at 7:45. Expecting good round count from this one, so please bring ammo for yourself ;).

Aw shoot, missing this month, too.   Not only do I have something that day, but my dominant hand is still recovering from a pretty bad cut.

Please keep posting in these in the event forum if you can, or keep HDF members informed somehow.  I'd really like to start coming out to the range days!

True..  I've been on break from FB for a few months now.  If I re-activate I'll try keeping up through there.  I see the range day marked on the websites calender, but back 4+ months ago I seem to recall not seeing it on the calender.  If it's being kept updated now, awesome!  Thanks!

We had a long period where we didn't know when our permitted days were (just an inefficiency in the permitting process).  I'm doing my best to keep it all updated =).

Navy, Marines, Army, and Federal branches are represented in that video.  I think communication is really important, and team drills are fun.  Just something I like to do.

I'm the little guy on the left, and my buddy is a marine sniper who is running with me.

I appreciate the fact that we have a public range.  With that said, it's better than slow firing. 

It also let's the participants really get to know their pistols and rifles.  Just my .02 cents.

People are supposed to be members (insurance), and then we just ask people donate.  Most people toss in 10-20 bucks for the day.  All the targets and stuff we provided so it helps cover those costs.
