Amazing the Oahu liberals have not yet succeeded in shutting down KHSC.

On a personal note, cannot help but see how the Maui range is positioned against that open hill. 
BI has innumerable places just like that to do the same, but no can do.
Might get some Karens upset about something or other.

Those horrid shooters want to use depleted uranium, I read that on Facef*ck.......

Story I was told is the housing development was planned to be built there before the range was built.  There was some sort of agreement that the range would be shutdown when the development eventually made it's way there, which it's been slowly doing over the decades.

Interesting.  Whoever worked out that agreement about shutdown when development starts hopefully put in a clause where the range will be re-located elsewhere.
