They lost Twitter so enter Disinformation Goverance Board

Label everything as a threat to national security. Like how they called gun deaths a "pandemic". We will see them use this in the years to come.

Tim Pool said Musk didn't just buy Twitter.  He purchased all the evidence from the last decade of Twitter's systematic and slowly increasing censuring of Conservative and anti-Liberal accounts that Dorsey and his company lied about.

Evidence?  There's circumstantial evidence today:  hundreds of Conservatives that were banned and/or had their accounts suspended suddenly and without notification or explanation were able to log onto their Twitter accounts.

It appears as if someone is reversing some of the "accidental" and "algorithm-decided" bans in advance of Musk and his people being given access to Twitter's servers.

Another funny thing I heard.  Liberals in the media are terrified that Musk will have Twitter at his disposal to potentially affect the outcome of elections if he chooses.

That, even though Jack Dorsey testified in front of Congress after the 2020 election and directly stated that his company did NOT have the power to influence the outcome of elections.  He said this even though the Hunter laptop story was suppressed on all social media platforms, and anyone trying to discuss it was blocked and their posts removed.

So which is it?  Twitter can't affect elections, or Musk could use Twitter to affect elections?

I think we all know the truth.

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.

The thing I don’t like is Musk’s huge ties to communist China.

Thank god there's nobody in the highest levels of government with strong financial ties to China.  Or who employed a spy for 20 years.  Or who had a sexual relationship with a Chinese spy for years.  If there's any "concern" needed regarding ties to China, maybe those relationships matter more than social media influences?

Based on that video, it sounds like Musk avoids politics when asked about certain issues and events while working smartly to create strong business relationships with Chinese industries.

Funny how nobody blasts Apple for their dependence on Chinese labor, technology and raw materials as a potential influence  on the company's media interests and software security for millions of Americans.

Boycotting China is irrational considering the economic role they play globally.  I don't see any evidence in Musk's past that indicates his political ideas drive his business decisions, unless you want to say his support of free speech is driving his decision to buy Twitter.  Oh, the horror!   :shake:

More like "Ministry of Love",  given the politics of the people that will run it.

Another dagger into the Heart of America as it was once conceived and once loved by those who value Freedom and Truth.

The beginning of a very ugly ending.

It's like a nasty dream where you know it's a dream and you're struggling to wake up.

But you never will. :(

Most people view the book 1984 as a cautionary tale.

The Socialist/Progressive/Leftwing/Democrat crowd embrace it as a guide for creating a controlled utopian society.

One of the biggest commonalities between the book's governing party and the Left Wing of today is their overwhelming compulsion to control everything and everyone by taking control of the narrative -- even so far as redefining our language to shape everyone's perception of reality.

1984 was written in 1949, just after the defeat of Hitler's Germany (1945) and the start of the Cold War with Russia (1947).  It's not hard to imagine how the political and idealogical landscape of that time influenced the writer.
