George Floyd and the Buffalo incidents.
« on: May 19, 2022, 06:42:29 AM »
I fail to see why in the incident with George Floyd, the public was all in uproar; protests, riots, public unrest, property damage and streets on fire.

But aside from verbal outrage, there is no civil unrest or any of the above incidents that happened with the Buffalo mass shooting incident.

Anyone care to comment or share what they think is the difference.  Surely both incidents were (are) conceived as hate crimes or crimes against blacks.
Sometimes you gotta know when to save your bullets.

At great risk I'll
type this.
A nutcase Democrat can kill without condemnation
from the Party.  A non-Democrat cannot.
A cop that maybe over zealously enforcing a silly Democrat law,
and possibly contributing to death of a black man is not forgivable.
I presume all cops are Democrats as they are members of government Democrat unions,
but the Party always is suspicious of them.
Notice I capitalize "Party."
That is the way I read it.

Rising Covid-19 numbers, baby formula, inflation, declining stock market, and the US imperial proxy war in Ukraine seem to be more prevalent on people's radar at the moment.

The simple minded are the easiest to control. With Floyd, people were told what to be mad at. Mass shootings take the back seat compared to system planned racism, even though the Buffalo shooting was proven to be racist as it's reasoning per the shooters manifesto. Right now, racism has no benefit to them (left/DNC/liberals). Wait till 2024 presidential election time.

I've mentioned this in the other thread about Floyd, nothing the cop did was racist in nature. He has zero complaints or anything that shows he is a racist.  It was a bad decision amplified by the shouting of people standing around.  Once someone is cuffed behind their back, the cops are responsible for anything that happens to that person.

I still don't get the baby formula thing.
Whole cow milk and Karo syrup kept most all of us
Boomers alive.
My daughter was Lactose intolerant, so the Doctor
prescribed BEER!
It is all about Calories.
Doesn't matter how you get them.

Proxy war is interesting.
We don't have to kill our people.
Russians get worn down.
it is a civil war not a "Empire war".

We have become divided because we are weak minded. Lots of people stuck in the past. Minority this orgs and that. Minority biased research etc. and then we put people in office without merit but because they are of a certain ethnicity or gender  Weak

Yeah, after a while one tends to become numb.  Lately there has been nothing but negative and depressing incidents happening around the world but more alarmingly, in our country.

2 completely different incidents.

In one a knucklehead crazy kid gets pandemic isolation radicalization and shoots a bunch of black people.
It’ll bring about conversation but not rioting.

In the other it’s only race based because they feel Blue is racist against Black.
The four cops were two whites, a black and an asian.
The protests are about their feelings that all cops are racist against black people. And this was a well documented, pretty extreme case to rally around.

My 2 cents.

I feel bad for the other 3 cops involved.  They had to run crowd control due to all the yelling and now getting the shaft.

For sure the Asian cop who strictly did crowd control.
And the newby who was like couple weeks on the job.
Collateral damage.

I see your point.

So if this white kid gets aquitted more likely than not there will be riots.  My thinking, anyway.

Death penalty?   Personally, I cant think of any reason why he would be acquitted.  Insanity?  That’s for sure.
I think, therefore I am armed.

The entire department should have walked off the job because it's only  a matter of time until any one else is tried and found guilty in the same manner (politics).

With Floyd there is an easy target, Police and the government. With shooters there isn't so much of an other side, the shooters are lone wolves, who do you attack?
