Kids can sue, meaning they can be the plaintiff.  But, they need a parent or guardian to do all the administrative and legal stuff, like hiring a lawyer (requires entering into a contract), filing the lawsuit (requires making sworn statements to the court), and ensuring the defendant/s receive proper notice (also requires evidence and sworn statements).

Most lawsuits are about getting paid and usually end in an out of court settlement.  I don't see this one being any different.

If you notice in the article, the complaints shift from climate change to pollution.  Climate Change is based on carbon emissions, not "pollution."  This lawsuit will be thrown out based on lack of merit, since they can't get their science facts straight.

They're attacking The Department of transportation and therefore all taxpayers.
The kids and the non profit law firms that prop these kids up in front of news cameras ride around in cars on DOT roads.
Hypocrisy at its finest.
These kid puppets don't pay taxes. They don't have any money to lose.
