No more registering in 3 cat.'s
« on: June 04, 2022, 06:03:07 AM »
My friend showed me a news article this morning that our governor enacted a law Friday late afternoon/ night that all guns must be registered in person.

Reasoning: help deter illegal guns. Like a person would bother registering a gun he plans to commit a crime with. Fucking b.s..
Arent people from out of state already required to register it?

Is the gov. That fucking dumb???? We cant even have unserialized guns no more. Right? Or rather how do you register a gun with no serial number...

So they, like stoopid Ige, does something.

No matter how stoopid.

How does one expect to do inspections on a gun that by all records do not exist?  ???

I have a friend Jerry, who no longer lives in Hawaii, that tried to register his guns when he moved here.
At the time Hawaii county only allowed you to register one gun per day. he had twenty or so guns.
Obviously he could not comply with the time limits so he said fuk it and didn't register any of them.
I think he sold most of his guns before he left.
Y'all figure that one out Ige.

The state can't charge you for not registering an illegal gun.  To do so would force you to violate your constitutional rights by admitting to a crime -- having an illegal firearm -- which makes you a witness against yourself.

The legal precedent I base this on is a case that stated an ineligible person (felon, etc.) in possession of a firearm can't be compelled to register their guns without violating the Constitution.

As usual, only the law abiding must follow the law and register their guns.  The law breakers who have unserialized, short-barreled or otherwise illegal firearms can keep them without fear of punishment for not registering.

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

HPD will probably note the color of the firearm as a way to identify the ones with no serial numbers.

That must be the plan since Ige signed it into law.

Brilliant.

Josh Green is no better.  He is the supreme lock down advocate.  Not following the science even though he's a purported doc.  As our military gets skeletonized who do you think will be left to defend Hawaii?  Private gun owners might be more than a reasonable guess.
