Sleep is a sign of weakness.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Not me. I can sleep anytime  anywhere if I want.  In fact I think I am going to go sleep now. No sense wasting a quiet afternoon.

That is a skill you learn in the military.
You learn to stay awake and when to sleep in a 24 hour per day
non-stop environment.

I think computers and cell phones are the ills of society nowadays.

People gotta figure out how to manage computer and cell phone use.

Myself included.
Sometimes you gotta know when to save your bullets.

Don't overlook the TV.  Most experts advise you to not even have a TV in the bedroom.  Better to read a book just before bed to take your mind off today's events and tomorrow's schedule than to have your mind become engaged in a TV program -- especially if the program has a lot of action.  Turning off the cell, PC and TV will also avoid those things keeping you up past your bedtime.  You don't have to fall asleep every night at the same time, but you do need to go to bed on a schedule.  Once in bed, read a book, work a crossword puzzle, or read a magazine.  You can also make a list of what to do the next day.  As long as you're in bed, it won't take that long until you're no longer thinking about "life" so you can fall asleep.

Sometimes showering or bathing within an hour of bedtime can relax you, too.

And don't eat or drink just before bed.  Anything you put in your body that has carbs or sugar will spike your insulin which doesn't help sleep.

I've used Melatonin supplements -- the hormone that induces your body to "shut down" for sleep -- and have found I need to take them much sooner than 2 hours before bed for them to have the effect I need.  They can also weird you out after you wake up if the effects take a long time to wear off.  Adjust for your needs, so they kick in and wear off at the desired times.

Exercise is another way to disperse that extra energy keeping you awake.  I normally like working out at night when I have the extra energy to do it.  Working out in the morning has always been a strain and doesn't reduce my energy at night.  Just don't workout too close to bedtime, or else you'll be too pumped up to sleep.  Schedule in a little time to recover and relax afterward.

It's not just you. Fun movie but they didn't bother with character arc, which is too bad because it could have been so much more than pew porn.

Back on the topic at hand...

Melatonin really helps, and I feel well rested when I wake up too. I got the gummies from costco.
