I wonder if this is tied into the "spend it or lose it " mentality.
But anyway, the way I see it is how can a child be "period poor"? They are still under the care of their parent(s). BTW, I added the (s) to parent because almost 9 out of 10 families nowadays are fatherless.
Anyway, why the school gotta do this. I wonder if it's tied into the first sentence above. Use the tax money or next time you not going get um.
If the parent(s) cannot afford menstrual products there should be social services and social workers that they can contact to help them.
Hope the social services and the social workers no find out the family no can afford menstrual products because they spend their money on bling-bling, tattoos, firearms, and gas guzzling SUV's.
