What’s really going on with powders coming here?
« on: June 22, 2022, 09:55:14 PM »
Anyone know what the hell is going on? Why there’s no powders coming to Hawaii? Brownells and other online retailers seem to have in stock weekly. Like we can get our illegal fireworks but we can’t get powders?

WTF?Shane

From what I have heard is that larger distributors are prioritized. Makes sense bigger market more $$. So get more friends to shoot and reload.

One of the lgs here also said that a shipment container is triple the price now. And I see more factory ammo showing up on shelves here. And no powders. Oh well, guess gotta slow down on reloading and shooting. Oh, and get on the bolt actions then semi.

I've been noticing the same.  Similar with primers as well, though primers are still tougher to come by, I see them in stock regularly.

I check with Kaleo here and there on shipping powders and primers, but so far just ammo.  Understand.  However, if we can get a consistent demand signal large enough to make it worthwhile, then maybe Kaleo or another opportunity could present itself.
