She did all the "research". By research, I mean what looks cool.  TBH, her views are more toward looks pretty, vs 1) mine as functionality.  She was looking at Tier1 Concealed, but no pretty holsters.  But in the end, 2) Kydex is kydex and she will be fine with her etsy holster.

Whenever I get a holster, regardless of the brand, I do about 100 draws just to make sure the gun doesn't go click when inserting or drawing.  You can never be too careful.
1) You sure?  Maybe people can change. . .  ;D

2) Again, you sure?  I can tell you, or maybe even show you on the range next time, issues I've seen with hobby or homemade kydex holsters.  One key thing to watch for is clearance to the mag release.  Giving ya a hint, not quite clue. . . I've seen it happen to a good buddy who makes his own holsters, and quite avid shooter.

I have a couple Etsys holsters that fit and work very well. Many sellers make quality holsters

I got the TREX Sidecar 2.0 holster for my 48 MOS and I've been trying it out. Still feels and looks like the grip prints so I might need to start wearing large and looser fitting t-shirts.

Belt?  The Kore belt creates a nice "ring" around my waist and the grip walls within.  I used to use an Atlas belt, which was thinner.  The thicker Kore belt helps provide a bit more space.

Have u tried a wedge?

The issue with bigger shirts are that they're longer .I wear a XL and had Mrs.CMO cowgirl ride me and the length of the shirt got caught under her.  Which meant there is no way I could lift my shirt to grab my gun.  So imagine a dude MMA style on u and also raining punches. U going get KTFO while u try to clear your shirt.  So instead, I'm not even going to try more than 1 attempt.  After that 1, I will roll over wrestling style, clench,  or create space. But not continue to try to clear the shirt while having punches rain down.

You're married.  Don't need to trick her with training scenarios. . .

Haven't really looked at belts. I've been old London Bridge Trading Inc. riggers belt. I've got another thicker EDC type belt I can try out from Jones Tactical.

Have u tried a wedge?

Only thing I've done is move the wing thing to the outside to push the holster more in and push the belt and pants outward.

So u dont waste $ on 1, try a like version just to see. Like roll fabric or what ever u got laying around. If it works, then buy 1 or can make 1 out of a yoga block.

Or go wholefoods and try a wedge of cheese for sampo.

Keeping up with the news, it appears that there might be a pistol qualification test for CCW.

Don't know the distance for the supposed qualification test, but I had a "shotgun" looking target at Kokohead shooting the P365 with open sights at 25 yards.

In this regard, I picked up a factory SIG slide with the Romeo RDS in case I need to qualify with the P365.

On sale, with the Romeo RDS.

Now I have the "basic" slim P365 grip module  AND the little wider Wilson Combat grip module with weighted tungsten rods.
Plus, the "basic" P365 slide with open sights AND the new SIG cut-out slide with Romeo RDS.
I can then mix-and-match the pieces............. ;)

I hesitated to go with the new SIG slide only (without the RDS), because then I would need a mounting plate and a new RDS,
which a new slide, new mounting plate, and new RDS would be more than the pistol cost!

The SIG RDS mounts directly to the slide, and no need mounting plate which makes it lower.

Got the slide from SIG today.  Got the FDE cerakote for durability.

Put on the Wilson Combat grip module and switched out the regular mag and the extended mag in these photos

Might have to go to Honolulu Firearms & Range on Queen St., to sight-in the pistol since Kokohead closed.

Heavies

Looks good!

Also picked up a Wilson Combat module. I really like the palm swells. Feels much more secure in the hand and pointable. I got the XL size. Was debating myself if should go with 365 or 365XL version. Liking the XL not much longer than the small.

Aftermarket FDE cerakote?  I have noticed that the OEM finish on my P320 X-Full is already showing signs of holster wear.  Don't mind at all, just something I noted.  It's primarily a range and competition pistol, at least for now.

Looking forward to seeing how you like the grip, even with the extended mag.

She spent some time comparing the 407 and 507 at DCT and the weeks prior on YT.  Chinawoman is pake, she didn't want to spend $50 more.

I get it.  Completely. . . that said, with you having the 507 and she the 407, ANY perceived deficiency, you're going to be having a 407 moving forward.

No, not aftermarket cerakote.  It came FDE from SIG, probably more durable than just the black/anodized finish......

I agree, the Wilson Combat grip module is much better with the palm swells, although it makes the grip a little wider....

I also got the tungsten rods (3 of them) to place inside the grip module, which adds a lot of heft to it.....  Probably much easier to control the pistol that's a little heavier.
