I did, but I got a thing of owning 2 of the same gun and the SK is too close to the VP. Same reason why I never bought a P30 or like platform, the grips are the same. When I buy another gun, I pretty much want something "new". Like VP9 to M45 to Shield Plus. Personal preference. Cause I got a friend who has multiple of the same gun.

I forgot to add that my shooting on Sunday was with a busted ring finger on my support hand. So can only support the grip with index and middle finger. Which also why I went slower for AIWB draw, had the shot timer set at 1.5 seconds. I didn't want to reinjure my ring finger trying to lift my shirt.

I sliced the tip about 3/4 an inch on thursday night on a the top part of a can of soup. I was pushing the trash bag into the trash chute and it cut me thru the trash bag. Blood wasn't gushing or squirting out, but flowing out.

I applied for ccw for 5 different handguns, but seeing all the BS we will have to go through to get a permit for each gun, I think I'll only use 1 handgun for ccw
either my G19 or Hellcat.  the Hellcat is smaller, but the G19 I can shoot better right now.  more practice with the G19 vs the Hellcat just bc I just got the Hellcat and I've had the Glock for a while now.  but the Springfield is smaller, easier to conceal.
I'll have to see which one will work better for me overall.  I'll have to do some comparison shooting.  but either one should be good, just want to see which one is better for me
the Sig P365 is my third choice.  just bc it doesn't have an optic.  slide not cut for optic, although I could get a slide with optic cut.  but it is the most concealable of the 3.  but overall I prefer the Hellcat over the P365.  I will use the Sig for my answer the doorbell pistol along with my LCR 38sp

Gotta work with what you got. . .

I always have some athletic tape in my range bag.  Helps with stuff like minor scrapes and stuff.  That and good to have duct tape.

What footprint is the Hellcat?  I've seen a lot of reviews of the Hellcat with the Swampfox and some other red dot.

I've CCW'ed my 19s and previously my 17s.  Haven't shot my Glock slim body pistols yet, but I can def see how I've gotten used to and spoiled by the stipping and frame work on my Gucci Glocks.

This website shows scale comparison pictures between common pistols. It’s a pretty good aid for figuring out what you might want to further research. https://www.handgunhero.com/

hellcat is the Shield RMsc footprint.  the hex Wasp fits directly to the slide and co-witness with the factory sights very well.  the front sight on the Hellcat is big and bright, I like it better than the sights on the P365.
most people have the Shield or the Hex Wasp on the Hellcat
hellcat only the front sight is tritium, the rear is a U shape with white outline.  I like it
the P365 is front and rear tritium.  the sights are good, but I prefer the setup on the hellcat, easier/faster sight acquisition

I also have the Swampfox Sentinel.  but the co-witness is not as good as with the wasp red dot. seems like the hex wasp just sits lower on the slide than the swampfox
with the swampfox the co witness is so low, you can barely get half of the irons to co witness on the bottom of the sight picture of the red dot window.  the wasp red dot is a lot better for this gun with factory sights, IMO.  maybe the shield dot is the same as the wasp as far as the co witnessing. but I've never tried it

I think I'll save the Swampfox for another pistol, maybe a G43x or something else. not sure yet

The Shield Plus is the same.

So I will be at DCT on Thursday.  I will ask David what he got. If he has a 507K I will buy it. But if he has a EPS carry, I will buy that. Pretty much which ever he has first. And if he has both or both come in later, I will pick the EPS carry over the 507K. Mainly cause the EPS comes with the plate already, so to factor in the cost of a plate needed for the 507K is like $20-$70 added to the cost of the optic. At that point, might as well spend a little more and go with EPS.

CMO logic.

Hex Wasp, yeah, that's the other one I've seen commonly with the Hellcat.  The EPS Carry sits low enough that the stock irons in the Glock 43x that was milled is maybe 1/16" above the bottom of the window.  I think it will be "good enough" for use of BUIS.  I'll likely be going with Dawson sights for the 43x.  It was milled aftermarket.  Will have to see how the EPS Carry (or whatever I end up getting) sits with the 48 MOS.

LMK if you want to try the 48 MOS or 43x.

What?!?! F'real?  The idea finally broke through?  haha

When I was at his shop a couple of days before he left on his trip, I didn't see either of those.  He did mention another shipment coming in soon.  Also may depend on which version of the EPS he has come in.  I have the "regular" EPS Carry.  The MRS version is running about $70 more.  But that's nothing compared to ammo. . .  ;D  For future EPS, I want the MRS version for the solar, but not essential.

Last time I was in his shop to pick up a couple of pistols, I ended up spending quite a bit more $$$.  Worse than going to Lowes.  And I could have spent a LOT more. . . haha

If you end up with the 507k, let me know.  If the plate that came with the EPS Carry works, you can have it.

Thanks.  Was just asking stang for what he's going with.  No interest for other pistols at this time, and won't even open that link, lest I get tempted. . .  ;D

Bro, you just messed up CMO logic/pake-ness. Now the 507K will be much cheaper.

But I'll let u know. Thanks.

I haven't shot it yet, but I recommend you go with the EPS.  Cry once and all that. . .

But, I'm getting rid of a bunch of old gear and frankly crap taking up space.  If you don't use the plate that came with the EPS Carry, it will likely just sit in a parts bin and probably forgotten. . .

The 507k isn't THAT much cheaper if you go with the non-MRS version :hmm:

Or you can buy a Shield Plus, Helcat, or gun that would use the plate.

Prob not buying another micro/compact pistol.  At least not until I shoot the 43x and 48 a LOT.

I have plans for a couple of full size pistol projects planned in prep for an RDS class next year.  Otherwise I'd be tempted to try a Shield or a P365.

probably won't be until november or later until we can shoot centerfire on the target side of the range, but I can wait.
I've overspent my limit on my credit cards for now.  I bought a few HK's lately and the Sig and the Springfield, so I pretty much have no choice but to wait to buy something new until towards the end of the year
I still have a few more handguns I want to put up for sale.  I guess nobody is in the market for a short barrel 357 SA right now.  but I know not many people into single action revolvers, I might just keep it and give it to my nephew
but lmk when you go kokohead next time   :shaka:

Action bays still open.  Hope it remains that way.  I was looking at the MPPL calendar and is indicates "Closed during range renovation" or something like that for October.  Hope that's just bad assumption.
