This may be foreshadowing what other states will be doing, because they (we) really have no other choice without getting hit with federal charges for violating the civil rights of every adult in the state wishing to carry.

Fingers crossed ...

Anyway, this is great news out of Maryland.  We all know they are not friends of the second amendment.

All of our police chiefs have been in violation of Title 18 US code, section 242 for years, now even more so. do you think our uber-Liberal US attorney
( ex- Hawaii AG) will change her ways just because it is the law?
I don't think she will.  When those pesky laws get in their way they just ignore it..
May we can get GOA interested in some civil lawsuits.  Anybody here know some low life Tort lawyers?

I didn't say the WOULD follow the law.  I'm just saying they really have no other option, since they know they are now in opposition to the latest SCOTUS rulings.

If they refuse to follow the law, there will be consequences.  Whether it's lawsuits, federal charges, or being replaced, they can't say they were operating in a "gray area".

Maryland saw the light, and the governor did his job by supporting the Constitution.  If Hawaii drags its feet, hopefully the consequences will be swift and substantial.  Even a dog learns not to disobey after a number of lessons.
