I don't recommend the HLs. I have a pair and took them apart to see what could be done to make them better at dampening sound.  When I opened them I was surprised to find that there is no sound attenuation material inside of them. So what you are getting for your money is a plastic shell that is compromised by holes for the mic pickups with thin ear pads that do a poor job at covering the ears of a shooter wearing protective glasses. I did a write up of the HL sport impacts on Amazon and posted pics of tge inside just to show what I found when I disassembled the muffs. Spend a little more and get a better product. Pay close attention to the rated decibel rating. Consider HL's other models or the other products sold by it's competitors.

HL made different models. I have the big bulky model that has a high nrr.
The only things I don't like is the size and the ear seal is so good that my ears get hot and sweaty.

Drill a few holes in em so the hot air can vent out.
