Rhodes trying to lose?

Fascinating peek into the mind of possibly the most anti-2a politician in our state, and that's saying a lot.

More taxes, less accountability, no mention of the crime wave in his district, and a lovely attempt at gaslighting the people who disagree with his alternative reality.

Apparently we are selfish children trying to start a civil war? Way to reach across the aisle, bud.

At least he seems to be running away from responsibility for the mandates that poisoned the population and destroyed our economy.

Hopefully that means the communists have lost and are in retreat.

he knows that no matter what he says or does, it is very unlikely that he will lose his seat...

^^^This. His district voters are dumb. I mean it's not like Chinatown and Downtown have low drug/crime.

quotes from the article...

" We need to keep our own house in order if we are going to retain our dominant political position."

"The commonly held view is that citizens initiatives are more democratic than the legislative process. I disagree."

"I do not support term limits for legislators (or for county council members for that matter)."

". Being able to meet in private makes it easier to work out compromises quickly."

For 2a related bills, he holds more power than Ige. He has the sole decision to allow or deny a bill a hearing. So if he doesn't like you're bill, then no chance of it even being heard. Which means deny all pro 2a bills.

If you ever want a good example of what tyranny can look like ... ^^^^^

Apparently, we voters are "smart enough" to elect people to office, but too stupid to form an intelligent opinion on the issues.

I do agree that our elected officials are placed in office to vote in our stead, but to say that's more Democratic is BS.  Democracy in effect is mob rule -- the majority will always win no matter how greedy, short-sighted or ignorant that majority may be.  The remedy for officials doing the same poor job as a mob is to replace them.

I'm SHOCKED  :shake: that any government official can be against term limits!
