Not sure he is the best person to be saying that at this point however I think he is spot on here. Too many in today's climate rush to apologize instead of maintaining what they said. If your opinion is sincerely held then stand firm

I rather make a definitive statement when I know enough to support a position instead of rushing to make a statement just to have one.
