NY is still trying to circumvent the recent SCOTUS/Bruen decision so they can continue to strip law abiding citizens of their right to keep and bear arms.

In the meantime, violence crime, including shootings, have been on an upward trend in NY.

One of the latest victims was an off-duty Cop.

If the Cops can't depend on the Cops to keep themselves safe, what chance does the average person have against a roving gang of muggers?

I don't know why I thought cops could CCW when off-duty.  I guess not.

That sucks.

New York Sucks.

California Sucks.

Hawaii definitely Sucks.

My opinion, of course, and in referral primarily to 2a rights, among some other things.

When HPD transitioned to 9mm I used to supply concealment holsters to police officers.
I'm pretty sure they are either required or encouraged to CCW while off-duty.
This was around 30 years ago.

I personally think all police officers should be able to CCW while off-duty if they choose to do so.

Well, actually I think ALL law abiding citizens should be allowed to CCW if they choose to do so. :thumbsup:

But that's another subject.
