Credit Card Tracking

Dems want to use credit card companies to track your gun-related purchases. Nice huh?
=========
Democratic lawmakers including Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Dianne Feinstein just sent a letter to the CEO of American Express pressuring the company to start monitoring gun purchases.
They essentially want the credit card company to create a special category for gun purchases — right now they’re categorized as “miscellaneous retail stores”
 — and use that information to report people to the police.
“Banks and credit card companies could help law enforcement preempt some mass shootings by identifying suspicious gun purchases through the implementation of a new MCC
,” the lawmakers wrote. “MCCs are four-digit codes maintained by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) that classify merchants by their purpose of business.”

Is buying a gun a crime?
Here in Hawaii we go through so many layers of background checks. Gun owners in Hawaii are vetted more than a person buying alcohol and cars; and those two combined contribute to more deaths than firearms.
We just gave billions $$$ worth of arms and technology to people in Afghanistan. Where was the vetting for them? Full auto weapons, machine guns, fighting vehicles, aircraft.
These two are so focused in demonizing their OWN PEOPLE. Why do they hate us so much? They should be recalled. Enough of this BS already.

The Fascists are coming!

They will prevail, if we let them.  They already put one in the White House but Thank Goodness that one is not too bright.  (I'm being too nice, he's an idiot.)

We stop them at the voting booth this November.  Then again in 2024.
Sometimes you gotta know when to save your bullets.

I'm shocked.  I was unaware that the majority of criminals who use guns buy them through retailers using credit cards.

I was also unaware that mass shooters are too stupid to commit their crimes soon after their purchases, before the credit card companies and police departments are able to identify "suspicious gun purchases" -- whatever that means.

Luckily, nobody in government would ever misuse this information for political purposes.

A mass shooting only requires a single firearm.  Two, if you want to have a backup in case the primary jams.

Buying a long gun and a handgun within a relatively short timeframe is now considered "suspicious?"

Nobody ever goes the extra mile to inform the public what constitutes things like "suspicious gun purchases."  If they tried, it would be obvious they haven't got a clue.
