The problem governments are trying to solve is the existence of your freedom.

Nothing to see here.

Just because BBC announced live on air, with Building Seven still standing in the background, that Building Seven had collapsed minutes earlier.

Nothing suspicious about that. Nothing at all.

Also, most secure election in history.

We got a bunch of engineers on this forum from what I can tell.
What say you ?

I would like to hear from member engineers.

Who can remember where they were that morning?
That was our generations JFK assassination.

I remember I was up early that morning getting ready to fly to Maui for work.
My parents were scheduled to fly back from Portland.
Got a call from Mom saying turn the TV on.
Minutes later the second plane hit.
We watched it it fly in.
Watched TV reports all day in disbelief that this could happen.
Watched the Towers fall in.
Craziest morning of my adult life in terms of things that didn’t directly affect my family.

I remember at work we all were discussing what kind of weapons those terrorists somehow snuck past security.

We ruled out the obvious ones: guns, deadly knives, explosives.  We all were thinking what kind of sharp object could be used as a weapon but fly under the radar.

Then I suggested boxcutters.

Some in my group guffawed and snickered.
Sometimes you gotta know when to save your bullets.

I was at home that morning. My phone rang.
It was my son who was in the Air Force.
He was blabbering something about the U.S. is under attack and they were on a high security alert.
What, Me Worry?
