Everyone should fill out the surveys. They are on the desk to the right when you enter the double doors.

I went at 930 and only had 5 in line, and four sitting inside.  Was surprisingly short today, but still took 1.5 hours to register.

I don't think going early is the best indication.  Everyone keeps thinking "I'm going to go early" and are inflating the line hah.  It also helps when we differ between permits, picking up permits, and just registration.

Was there today after lunch and said "Oh yes, no line outside!"  When I got inside, it turns out that the line had wrapped around inside and formed a U.

I estimated waiting for about 1 1/2 hours when one of the officers asked if anyone was only picking up a permit that has already been applied for.

Lucky day for me and I was out the door with my permit within 10 mins!  Thank you, Lord!

Well it's nice to see some things changing.

Passed by at 9am (half hour ago) and there was 1 guy standing outside the door. Not sure if that's the end of the line or he was reading the posters on the door though....

Yeah it was ridiculous today. I went by around 8am and also again at 10:30. 10:30 was even worse.

I believe this is true...
People are thinking the early bird get's the worm, but in reality the early bird gets the line. Going in early doesn't seem to make sense anymore.

That's a bummer that "only 8 people in line" is a good thing.  I only own about 10 firearms, but every time I was never worse than the 4th person in line over the years.  Well, it's good I guess that sales are up, but bad until HPD changes the procedures.  Waiting to exhale....
