Applied for my handgun and rifle permits. Stood in line at 11:45 left at 2:15.

Hopefully its better when i go back in two weeks to pick them up.

the line was to the security window
I estimate about 15-20 people in line.

You can park in the municipal lot one block down. Not sure about the park and ride. Thats what the guy behind me in line told me yesterday.

Lucky you!  I was the guy right outside the door when he turned the sign over to closed.   :(  Oh well I'll be there first thing tomorrow morning waiting outside the door at 7:45.

Sorry to hear that Kala. If it makes you feel any better, I'm still inside waiting for the paperwork.

Kudos though to the HPD guys and gals working the desk. These guys kept it professional withy the crazy line today.

The line is going to be super long, if you show up at 7:45.  You can see in this thread, that people are already there by 6, some even earlier.  In light of the recent shootings, I only see things getting worse.  Much worse.   :grrr:
