I believe you get 3 hours in that police/public lot right across from the board of water supply building. I was only able to get parking in the downstairs lot 1 time for my first handgun registration.

That's the municipal building parking structure. Great place to park. I always park there.

Past by at 3pm today saw 5 people out the door!

12:55 - Parked in police station lot.
1:00 - Arrived, line passed the 2nd pillar.
2:10 - Finally get in the door, moving slow.
2:45 - Guy in front held my spot while I fed meter.
3:15 - Get to the counter, register 3 long guns
3:30 - On my way home

Less than 3 hours.  Sounds pretty good to me.........compared to what i was hearing a week or two ago.  Maybe it's time i go pick up my lowers so i can go register them

Went today at 200 to register my rifle, got out at 345 better than i expected

Oh ya, i got there at 0430 yesterday and was 19th in line. Left there at 0930

a uniformed officer came out and let everyone fill out the paperwork before hand. he also took i.d.'s from people just picking up permits.

we should be able to fill out the paperwork early all the time. like online or at the store. just saying

that's exactly what i was thinking. you waited 2.5 hrs in line. Took  me 1hr once they opened but i was there 2 hrs earlier... you win. i'm not doing that again.
