maybe theres an express line now.

I wonder what would happen if people started making their own lines, one for permit and just let all the people which need them cut in front and go to the front of the line while everyone else which was regging guns or getting applying for permits made another line.  I was in city mill the other day and the power went out and people just started to make their own lines, ones for returns and one for buying stuff with cash and one for buying things with creditcard and it sure speed things up.  The staff didn't really order people to do it (they were too busy trying to get people out the door and ring stuff up), people just figured it out on their own.  It's not really brain surgery, it only takes common sense...

This makes sense. Everyone just make their own lines. Or imagine if everyone just stopped registering all together. Hahahahhaah.

this might work in a state as big as New York or Cali where there is a lot of real crime and much less police.  Here we have very little crime and a lot of police so they could actually afford to go door to door and track everyone down and arrest them if necessary to make a point.

Line went out the door, to the atm, then doubled back along the Ewa walkway to the first pillar.

Good luck bruddahs!!

It's 1:47p and still the same!

Arrived at 1:50 and it is a straight line to the security post window at the main entrance.

Update:  Just got in the door before they locked it.  Got out of there around 4:15.  I didn't get anything at the gun show, just so happened that my lowers came in and this was my day off.  Bad luck I guess.

Picked up my permit and out the door at 9:15am, went to lunch and then collected my pistol, returned to HPD at 1:15 and the line stretched to the opposite side of the building, definitely more than a 2 hour line, aborted and will try again Monday.  :wtf:

guys mostly registering guns today... a couple of permit apps and a few permit pickups from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm.... line was moving really slow... 3rd pillar to door in 1.5 hrs..... felt sorry for the guys in line outside the door at 2:30....

Does HPD give any extensions on time when registering a rifle or handgun?

They tend to be understanding when it is a day or so late, but technically it is still late in the eyes of the law.
