I usually go 30 minutes before they open at 9am (South Hilo). But make sure you don't end up going on the first friday of the month due to furloughs and if you have to go the monday after make sure you go early because the line can get ridiculous.

I think if people are in line at 11PM on a Friday night, there's a bigger problem at HPD than just slow service!!   :rofl:
